I have been falsely accused of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy,
even though my son has seen a pediatric GI that placed a G-tube
in December or 2004. He was then diagnosed with pancreatic
insufficiency and failure to thrive. We have been to all our
appointments and even had second opinions. No one has been able
to figure out what is wrong - he will be four in a few weeks and
is only 36 1/2 inches and weighs 29 pounds. CPS came and took
him on June 18th because I "may" have MSBP; because according
to them he gains "significant" amounts of weight in the hospital
and loses weight at home. CPS was ordered to put him in a
medical foster home and we were to start visitation. As of
today (10 days later) we have not heard or seen our son. We
have learned that he has been in a hospital since they removed
him. He has been on tube feeds and has not gained any weight in
the last 10 days. So I guess that rules out gaining significant
weight in the hospital as well as my being the cause of him
losing. Since they removed him from our home he has lost 3
ounces. I guess he is giving everyone Munchausen's. I do have
an excellent attorney however I am looking for any articles,
news reports, or newpaper write ups about mothers falsely
accused of having MSBP. That way we can form a strategy to take
to the media. CPS has not released any information about how
our son is doing. They will not return our calls and even our
attorney has not our little guy. Please any information that I
can pass on to my attorney to get him to take this to the media
would really help. We are scared and miss our son like crazy, I
can only imagine what he must be going through. Please if
anyone can help - please me.

I am a mother of two who has been falsely accused by DCF! I Had
my children taken from me, in Santa Rosa County, Florida, in
October 2005. My children were taken from me on the morning of
my 25th birthday due to false allegations that their father
made. Since then, my youngest son, who is four, has been
sexually molested. My two boys, who are four and six, were very
close, and now live in two separate homes and clash every time
they are around each other. DCF has falsely quoted statements
form parties involved. They have filed papers with the court
stating that my parents said that I was a drug abuser, when my
parents never stated that; and it is most certainly not the
case. I am on prescribed medication for a chronic illness. I
informed them of this and they gave me a urine test. I only
showed possitive for the medication that I am prescribed, but
they expressed to the court that I had a "substance abuse
problem" and, "...couldn't take care of my kids because I was
never sober". Please HELP. I don't know how to fight these
people! I am set for trial at the end of February. I have
refused to sign their "safety plan" and they are saying that it
just shows the lack of concern that I have for my children. If
there is anyone out there who can assist me in any way, please
let me know. I am so angry at these people. I want them put in
jail for the crimes that they are commiting. I want them held
accountably for the lives that they are destroying!

The GEO report clearly shows that there has been an unjustfiable
misappropriation of Government funding through the years
concerning child protective services nationwide, with MOST of
the funding used for nothing more than paychecks for the
caseworkers. The money was supposed to be used to aid in
Medicaid, medicare, child care, and courses and programs to aid
in the strengthening and maintaining of children and families.
Not only are the child protective agencies/entities robbing the
children and the families, they have been robbing the Government
who pays them!

In June 2006 CPS came into my home and removed my children (six
years old and six months old). The reason was based a phone
call that was made to the abuse hotline. The call was made from
a family member that had a grudge against me (I was present when
that family member called the abuse line and made false
allegations). When they came into my home, they had a police
officer present with them. Without knowing my rights I allowed
them to enter my home and because they told me they had to
remove my children, I thought I had no choice. When I met with
my case worker Lashawn Jenkins with CBC of Seminole she told me
I better not go to trial to get my children back because I would
lose. She then handed me a case plan which set the
reunification to be one year from when they stole my
children. I knew I was and still am a good mother and I decided
to go to trial. Three months later within two hours the Judge
gave my children back to me. CPS had no right to remove my
children. On the stand the CPS worker blamed their actions on
CBC of Seminole. To all parents that are suffering without your
children because of CPS, DCF or CBC remember to fight for your
rights. They have to prove their case against you. They will
discourage you, and intimi you as well. Now that I have my
children back, I am still upset over the situation. I do plan
to file a law suit against all departments that have mentally
abused my family.

untrue failure to protect because my children witnessed a verbal
fight between my husband and me, that is the story they are
giving. True story is my ex (father of the children) does not

I have been dealing with the DCF/Family Court nightmare in
Pinellas County, Florida for over 32 months now, and just
recently went to court and lost my parental rights. I went to
the ACLU/Tampa website and filed a complaint form citing
malicious prejudice and bias at that hearing against the Judge
as I am certain it was all a set up; she (the Judge) knew it
and allowed it, and I want to expose it. I also stated at that
hearing that I intended to appeal their ludicrous session, but
it was obvious that the court appointed attorney was comfortable
that they had properly stripped me of my rights. Would like to
get involved on a different level in hopes that I may still win
eventually. Has anyone or everyone else also filed with the
ACLU? It would seem at least on the surface that it would be a
hopeful start. I hope that somehow we can break through the
wall of injustice before it gets much worse. My 83 y.o. mother
says that the government in Nazi Germany was alot like this
prior to and during the WW2. Has anyone tried dealing with the
ACLU? And if so, has it done any good?

My 4 children were taken from me wrongly over a week ago. Ages
3 months to 10 years. The baby snatcher implied that my
children's father had abused my 3 year old daughter by burning
her with a cigarette on her forehead and busting her in the lip.
Total fabrication. My daughter was seen in her doctors office
the day before they took them for the FEVER BLISTER on her lip.
And as far as the burn on the forehead..., my husband was
holding a cigarette with an umbrella because it was raining, my
3 year old ran up to him abruptly, and was ACCIDENTALLY slightly
burned. These people took our children without any real reason.
I have an attorney and all, and we have a court in 2 and
half weeks, but I'd like to find out anything and everything on
these people to have a stronger case. God knows they are doing

The reason I want to join is because I want to know our legal

Oh yes, they will make it "Christmas every
day" for the kid until they have them in their talons. From
there, the kid goes into residential treatment to be doped out
of her head and collect the Social Security Title IV-E funds until the she "ages out"
at 18. At which time, the kid is dumped on the street without

I have been reading AFRA reports. I believe the stories because
I am one more victim of those outrageous procedures. I never
imagined that in the name of the Justice in this country, state
agencies (DCF, CPS, Kids Central, Inc, etc.) were capable to
tarnish the "motto", "in the best interest of the children" ,
that they use constantly to undercover the cynicism, the
hypocrisy and their false intentions. They do that in front of
Judges. They swear under God and Justice that they are telling
the truth. Corruption and money is what is behind this
increasing wave of cheap merchants who name themselves
"protectors". State and Federal funds seekers covered in the
motto mentioned before are behind agencies to make believe to
the ignorant or parent not touched yet by the hands of this
American "cosa nostra" what is really happening. I have been
fighting by myself and at different levels. I have been blocked
many times. I will like to be part of any organization who is
working to expose the truth. I need help I will help too. I
know the risks involved and how they will do and will apply more
extreme measures in my case. They are doing that at this

I am a grandmother trying desperately to get custody of my
grandson. My problems with the DCF office began in 2002 and
have been on going ever since repeated instances of neglect and
abandonment, well documented. I have kept a journal and
photographs. But DCF turns a deaf ear to every allegation and
cover themselves with lies and agency double talk. I have
talked to the media about these instances and plan a
demonstration outside our local DCF office the local news
station has agreed to cover our story. I feel the safety and
well being of my grandson should not be left up to this agency.

I would like to join the many people who are going through these

Please add me to your list of supporters. I am very concerned
about the ways in which a few individuals in our family court
system in Kissimmee have gone to lengths to control divorce
cases, and have lied in my case and others I have witnessed. In
my case evidence indicating misstatements was brought forward in
court to be dismissed or put aside. Outright lies in writing,
and as they acted on the courts behalf. Not addressed. In
spite of witness statements, photo records, items are filled and
much can be said of courtrooms in Kissimmee where proceedings
are not recorded. Only the orders of the court and attorneys
out for funds.

I am trying to obtain doctor recommended services for my child.
I have been abused by the Manatee County Courts, DOAH, the 5th
District Court of Appeals and now I have filed in my child's
behalf in the Supreme Court. These courts have closed cases
without me there and able to speak on my behalf. I have been
falsely charged with abandonment which was dropped because of
evidence. I have requested copies of Electronic Audio Tape
recordings of these hearing and was denied. DOAH refuses to
hold a hearing at my convenience and refuses to let me enter
relevant evidence in any hearing that I've attended. The 5DCA
refuses to accept this evidence and continues to aide the
Appellee. Is there any rights groups that can bring some public
attention to these perpetrators. I have written to many
including all the local news agencies to no avail. Everyone
doesn't seem to have an interest in the rights that doesn't
effect them at the moment.

I'm in Florida and have an ongoing battle with Polk County DCF.
They would like to 'reunify' my granddaughter back to her
mother. The child is currently in temp custody with her father
and has been for almost 2 years. The mother has been Baker
Acted on several occasions throughout her life, is extremely
unstable and has confirmed drug abuse. DCF however chooses to
overlook these issues and is continually pursuing reunification.
The General Master on this case decides she will not follow the
Florida Statute guideline and also DCF policy. Basically, she
is making up her own rules as she goes along. I am at my wits
end and am beginning to file complaints with the Inspector
General, Attorney General and whomever else I happen to come
across that will listen. I appreciate any information regarding
the Polk County DCF (Gulf Coast Community Care) that anyone

Hi my name is Gene Couch and I live in Lakeland, Florida and
here is my story. My and my significant other (female) had our
2 boys and a girl sheltered in Oct '99 for allegations of sexual
abuse. The allegation was unfounded, so we were put on a case
plan and were made to complete parenting, anger management and
FYI classes. Three days before Christmas, the court let the
boys come home, but a child psych wanted to further test the
girl, so the court had her stay in foster care. The mother had
a fit. So, DCF told her if she took the 2 boys and leave me,
she'd have her daughter back, so in Feb '00, she did. In march
of '02, after being kicked out of every shelter in the county,
DCF charged her as unfit and took the children from her and gave
them to me, as I had a steady job of 7 yrs and a steady home of
6 yrs and no priors. They started out to terminate her parental
rights, but somehow they ended up putting her on a case plan and
after a year of getting the kids straightened out and from
D's& F's to A's and B's, they took them from me and gave
them to back to her. In less than a month, she had 3 teenage
gang members break into my house and steal 7 guns, etc. There
was a SWAT standoff at her place the next day, as 2 were in her
attic. The 3 were arrested and they confessed that she showed
them where I lived and told them how to get in. Then she was
arrested and confessed the same. She was evicted and had her
electric shut off, but to this day she still has the kids.

On January 28, 2004 I gave birth to a baby boy and on January
30, 2004 they came and took my baby boy for no reason what so
ever. I was in a bad relationship with a really bad drug user
and he would beat me when I would not give him money so D.C.F
said I was not protecting my children so I lost three good
babies my daughter Amber 10 ,James 9,Jasmine 3 because I didn't
leave him soon enough. Well I did leave him and found some one
good and we had a baby boy named Isaac born on January 28, 2004.
We never fought never had the cops called on us but they still
took our son. My new husband never was a father before until
now. He was never in trouble in his life. We would just like
to know why they took our baby son away from us. D.C.F is doing
a lot of people wrong in this state and others too. We need to
put a stop to this before it is to late for all of us and our
children that we love a lot.

I'm in a mess with DCF in florida. I lost my kids due to drugs
three years ago but have since cleaned my life and have a new
child. I have been clean for one year and five months. I'm
doing good with my new child. I never knew how to open the case
until the end and a lawyer told me it was possible to, so I just
got the case open and they developed a case plan for me. But
the aunt is fighting me for them cause she has had them for
three years. I never lost my parental rights. I have been
closely in their lives since they were taken away. They know me
as mom. The case worker has already more or less stated they're
fine were they are living. So she is not very supportive. Any
help for me????? I love my kids so much I cant stand to think I

I have had two case plans with the Florida DCF. Both case plans
were closed. But I live in fear of losing my children. Even
though I am a wonderful mother and provide every necessity
available for my children above and beyond. Parenting does not
come with a structurized handbook. I would like to become of

I would like to join. I'm sick of the abuse that DCF & the
court system is doing to my child. I would like to remain
unknown as to the fear of the retribution of DCF. Please let me
know how I can post my story, and any help there is available.
I was investigated by DCF & CBC due to a false report made
against me. My child was removed and placed with my Grandmother
for 4 months. After $14,000 in legal fees, I have custody of my
daughter again, but live in constant fear of her being removed
again! Even though the case was dropped and nothing was found
against me, CBC still comes to my home for monthly visits. Why?
I'm sick of being violated! We can't even leave the state! My
daughter has suffered such trauma. Her father unfortunately
signed the ever famous "Case plan" and still is only allowed 1
day a week 1 hr visits. Our Daughter is almost 2. How is this
a healthy happy relationship? I have much to say, Please

We had our 1 month old baby taken from us because we did not
agree with the doctor's decision to be hospitalized. Before we
could take her to another hospital we were handcuffed and the
baby dragged away. We spent 2 days in prison and go to court
tomorrow to mediate our case plan. Mind you we went in a month
ago and it was postponed for discovery. Friday we received a
notice as to what we have to produce for medical records —
all before 10 o'clock. The notice we got from Dennis' lawyer
— not DCF. What is wrong with these people and since
when do I have to provide a case for them. They have already
caused a delay. . . And I have read the service plan and it
leaves them plenty of room to make one's life miserable. When
Clinton. H said there should be a social worker in every home
she should have included hers because they would find much there
that needs repair. What they are doing is destroying the
American Family.

My wife Sarah was living with her mother when DCS kidnapped her
son. Sarah was in the hospital. She left her son in her
mother's care. Her mother went out drinking and left the kid
with a baby sitter. She came home to DCF kidnapping her
grandson. Shouldn't they have given him back after Sarah got
out of the hospital? It is a year later, we are married, her
mother isn't in the picture any more and we provide a good home
but DCF won't go away. They constantly interfere in how we live
how we raise our child. They made us put him in this awful
daycare program and then they complain because he can't walk yet
at a year and a month. They tell DCF we bring him in dirty.
They are lying. Then when he comes home he looks like he
crawled through a chimney. He gets sick every time he goes to
daycare. He shouldn't get sick that often and when he gets sick
they send him home and don't let him come back the next day. He
can only be out for 10 days then it gets canceled and DCF
re-kidnaps him. This is totally unfair. CAN ANYONE HELP US GET
RID OF DCF PLEASE?

I had gotten my 2 year old back from the DCF "Hit Squad" for
about 6 months when I made an error, as all of us have done at
one time or another, and slapped him once. DCF, in their
infinite lack of wisdom took him and my 16 year old autistic out

While the teen was in a "safe" foster home, he got his face
fractured in several places. DCF is looking to TPR me and, so
far, they have not picked up the evidence against the foster
home (I have photos of both kids from 4 days after the slapping
incident and the 2 1/2 year old has no sign of trauma where the
16 year old has massive bruising and nasal deformities. The
foster home did not even take him to a doctor. My ex from
Pennsylvania had to come down to Florida to get him so he would
be safe from their evil clutches. Where is the justice when I
spend 9 days in jail and have my kids kidnapped through their
"legal manipulations" and the foster home is ignored.

We support the changes that DCF is trying to make, along with
the legal system but it seems the State of Florida has forgot
that the state workers must change with the reform programs.
What good is a new ran system if you do not retrain the
individuals in charge of this system. The State of Florida must
recognize that an error only becomes a mistake when you refuse

DCF came & ripped my 2 sons away from us. The doctors even
recommended further medical testing to be done on one of my sons
but, DCF won't do it because they are convinced it was abuse.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! They even offered to give me one child back
if I signed my rights over to the other one. That is
IMMORAL!!!!!!

DCF is keeping my Child away from me because of alleged sexual
abuse from my ex-husband. I have divorced him and even helped
them get him but they won't give her back to me. I have
completed their case plan yet the Guardian Ad Litem says I am
not ready yet since my boyfriend treats her like a princess and
gets her a drink of water if she needs it. They have placed her
with her father who is abusive and is currently getting a
divorce. Help I want my daughter back.

Have been wronged by DCF. Lied on our home study. Preventing
getting our grandchild transferred to our state. Lied on my
daughter as well. Kinship also lying about my daughter and
using slanderous statements about her. Unable to afford any
more money for attorneys fees. Have refinanced my home sold my
property and drained my bank account. They are threatening to
take away her other child in our state. They are in another
state. DCF here says hands off. Not at any kind of risk.
