Dear Leonard:
My husband & myself wish to join your organization. In the year 2000 we went through a fight with what our state calls Department of Family & Children Services. That was the first go round with this horrible agency.
After our battle with them the judge ruled that they should have never been involved with us in the first place & we received a letter of apology from the regional director of this entity. Of course it took several thousands of dollars later & two long months.
Just when you think & hope it won't happen here they come again. In July I (Carol) went to the hospital because my doctor had taken me off my thyroid medicine for six weeks to do what is called an uptake scan. During this time complications set in such a spitting up blood & improper brain function. However it did not impair my skills for the care of our daughter. DFACS showed up at the hospital & said that I had not feed her (our daughter) for two or three days which of course was just the beginning of their lies.
In December of 2003 we had a hearing for three long grueling days in which we heard one lie on top of another from various state employees. The judge said that he would make a ruling in a week or two & now here we are in the middle of February & still no decision while DFACS racks in more money each month to keep our precious daughter from her loving home.
Sincerely,
Allen & Carol Ivey
