Last summer, agents of the Cherokee County child welfare system plucked two small children from the comfort of their grandparents' home after a judge questioned the couple's fitness to raise them.
His proof? A videotape the grandparents had made.
The tape showed the 3-year-old boy playing with chopsticks in a Chinese restaurant and "driving a go-cart in the street with traffic nearby,'' Juvenile Court Judge John Sumner wrote.
